Today, in the Philosophy lesson, our teacher told us something that I found quite astonishing and, also, sad.
A 23 years old boy has been visiting our school today who has just come from Africa, where he was doing some voluntary work. The problem is that, because of malaria, he had to go to an african hospital, where he was given a blood transfussion. That blood contained the VIH virus, so, the boy is now ill and has come home with this enormous and unexpected problem.
These kind of news make us feel really sad because, of course nobody deserves getting a terrible illness like that, but we think that it is very unfair that a young boy who has been working in a totally voluntary way trying to help other people has to have an end like this one, instead of the calm and happy life that he would have had.

I found really interesting the new that laura told us about the young boy who went to Africa so that make some voluntary works in there. However he were so unlucky that he got an illness and he had to go to a hospital in there. It`s said that although the hospitals are not as good as in here you must go to the hospital as soon as you get it. Surely, he would have been adviced of that and that's why he acted in that way.
Unfortunately as too much people have VIH in Africa an although the blood wasn't though to containe the virus, that blood transfusion changed completly his life.
This kind of news make us feel really sad on the grounds that if nobody deserves getting so terrible illness this kind of people less or that what we think at least. However in my opnion this things shouldn't make us feel afraid of making voluntary words as people in the world need it. Of course, the system have to change so that that kind of problems don't repeat and they can do that just with our help!!
